Dear Reader, it feels like so much has happened that I don't know where to start... How are you? Did you have a nice August? What's good, what's new, what do you have going on for the remainder of the year? I have been over here posting ENFJ videos on writing, communication, conflict, decision-making, and Linda Berens' Envisioner Mentor descriptions. We have also hosted several visitors, plonked out on the terrace, and read a considerable number of novels: for me, the Crescent City series by Sarah Maas (plus I'm on the 3rd book of Court of Thorns and Roses - what is it about pseudo-feminist fantasy?? I'm not really asking, just let me enjoy this ;-)), Elizabeth George (#LynleyandHaversforever), Marian Keyes (hilarious), and Here One Moment by Liane Moriarty - thoroughly recommend. Mo enjoyed The Marble Hall Murders by Horowitz and is on one of Bob Mortimer's now. Speaking of escapism/consumerism, we subscribed to Netflix again and if you haven't watched Dept Q yet - do. Hostage was alright, Zero Day is starting off pretty strong (we just saw ep 1 last night), and we finished re-watching seasons 1 and 2 of Fisk so we can start season 3 with gusto tonight. I never got into The Office, but all the Fisk characters are so great. As is Billy Connolly's "Windswept and Interesting" audiobook, narrated by himself. As for the remainder of the year, I'm doubling down on trying to reach and support individuals and couples with these topics: Differences in Desire – When one partner wants sex more often or in different ways than the other, creating tension and frustration. Lost Spark – When intimacy feels routine or almost nonexistent, and you’re longing to reconnect. Intimate Communication – Struggling to share needs, boundaries, or fantasies without conflict or shame. Exploring New Relationship Styles – Considering polyamory or opening up the relationship in a clear, consensual way. While my plan is to allocate more energy and resources into building an in-person presence in my new hometown, I'll always be available to provide services virtually via Zoom as well. So, if a friend or colleague is mentioning any of these to you, I would love a referral! :-) Cheers for now, PS: Interested in something more tailored to you and your relationship, but not ready for coaching? I'd still love to support you! Here are some resources you might find helpful (links): |

Dear Reader, summer has arrived in the Northern Hemisphere, and with that comes a shift in priorities and, not gonna lie, some lethargy. So just to manage expectations, you'll probably hear a little less from me over the next several weeks. Ok, I might send a few pieces from the archives that have resonated in the past and deserve another airing, just so you won't forget all about me. ;-) For today, I want to share a new series I've been doing on my YouTube channel: reading what people have...
Dear Reader, We've recently subscribed to Showtime again, and are finally able to catch up with one of my favorite TV shows, Couples Therapy. In case you're unfamiliar, it's where a real psychoanalyst (Dr. Orna Guralnik) talks to real couples (so many) about their issues. In Season 3b, there's a particular one that caught my interest, Josh and Natasha. I may have started watching this show purely for infotainment, but the more training I've been receiving, the more I pay attention to Orna's...
Dear Reader, Last week I wrote about a question I’ve been having about whether Type preferences might have evolved in part as a response to childhood trauma, or to what extent our innate preferences influenced how we developed and dealt with that. My friend Cindy emailed me a paper about whole Type and the archetypal Self in response, and that helped put some shape around something else I’ve been noodling on. So this week, I’m going to go a little further “out there” and ask, what if the...
